A total of nine members of the Ball State track & field program were named to the 2015-16 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team as announced by the league office.

The Ball State track & field program saved its best for last, as the team scored in four events on the final day of the 2016 MAC Outdoor Championships.

Kassidy Swenson led a trio of Cardinals to the finish line in the 400m hurdles with an eighth-place clocking of 1:01.85

Marie Lumpkin captured eighth place in the hammer throw Thursday to lead Ball State track & field on the opening day of the 2016 MAC Outdoor Championships.

It's championship week for the Ball State track & field program which will send 12 individuals and a pair of relays to the MAC Outdoor Championships (May 12-14) at Toledo.

The Ball State outdoor track & field team closed the 2016 regular season with four personal records and six top five finishes at Friday's Billy Hayes Invitational.
